Cosmo Arts on World Environment Day

"There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed." Man must feel the earth to know himself and recognize his values.... God made life simple.  It is man who complicates it
Let us introspect and awaken  spiritual and humane part of ourselves  on this World Environment Day, we need to act like role models for our younger generations and carry forward this message -that we human beings are caretakers of this planet!

Take nothing but pictures.
Leave nothing but footprints.
Kill nothing but time.

Jeram Patel's Art Works on display with Cosmo Arts Gallery (India)

From way back in the 60's, when Jeram Patel hit the Indian art scene with his big black strokes, to today he remains one of the senior most and respected names in the country’s art circumstances. Not totally abstract and not figurative. It’s combination of all feelings and what he has gathered over the years .Jeram Patel was born in 1930 at Sojitra in the Kaira district of Gujarat. He studied drawing and painting at Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai between 1950 and 55, and typography and publicity design at Central School of Arts and Craft, London for two years till 1959.
Jeram Patel is one of the artists who turned around the Indian art scene and formulated a new visual identity and method of abstraction in the late 1950's and 60's.  Patel has held one-man shows in London, New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai and has represented India at the Tokyo Biennale of 1963, the Sao Paulo Biennale of 1963, the Third World Biennale at Baghdad in 1980 and the Festival of India, London, in 1982. His works are featured in many prestigious collections including those at the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, the Museum of Chennai Art, Baghdad and London.

Jeram Patel's profound message on human life – the fears and desires that are told through random thick strokes. His heart cries over the miseries of the life and he dreams of an angel to
come from the heaven and endure the bruised souls on this earth

The exhibition features oil, acrylic and ink works by Ompal. Viewers are bound to be challenged while exploring the layers of his enigmatic  and reflective creations which unveil mystifying saga . Animate and engaging, Ompal’s paintings are for  people with verve in their heart.   His work can be best understood as a series of strokes that create a certain synthesis, a transient balance that always shift to accommodate the movement of diverse moods. The beauty of the whole depends on the harmony of the components  which comprise it.  Ompal’s  canvasses have central figure encircled by  faces and Godlike figures and synchronization  of these lends to  perfect aesthetic entity, making him stand out with his distinct signature style. He is more of a Magician than an Artist, transcending ordinary subjects into extraordinary universal symbols thereby mesmerizing one and all.  Ompal’s paintings astoundingly create the moment of amalgamation and allow the observer an insight into the Soul of his subject thus generating a divine feeling of eternal oneness. Om's works have gained increased following among Art Connoisseurs and Collectors from homeland and overseas both. Ompal concurrently whittles up and unites the composition, drawing our gaze into one spot and then escalating it to the whole. His works are like visual poetry- very fluid, rhythmic yet open to interpretation and elucidation. His range of form, color and scale is vast. His present series of Artworks reflects electric mix of serious concept, fancy and emotions. The present exhibition by Cosmo Arts (India) celebrates the creative exploration of the artist and gleams with his cosmic, enigmatic and visionary Art.
